KIEV, July 4. /TASS/. An explosion occurred inside the office of Ukraine’s Batkivshchina party in the city of Sumy last night, the regional police said.
"An anonymous phone caller told the officer on duty of the Sumy city police force at 02:55 there had been an explosion inside the Batkivshchina party. Police arrived at the scene to find no casualties," the police official said.
The blast smashed the windows and doors of the party’s ground floor office. Police and Security Service detectives are currently examining the scene.
"A decision is to be made whether to open a criminal case to probe into if it was a terrorist attack," police said.
