MOSCOW, June 29. /TASS/. Kiev forces have violated the ceasefire regime eight times over the past 24 hours by shelling the territory of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic, local militia said on Monday.
The shellings were carried out with the use of large-caliber mortars and air defence guns, the LuganskInformCenter has reported. One militia member was injured during the attack on the Zhelobok village conducted with the use of a 120mm caliber mortar.
At least six shells with a 120mm caliber were fired on Sunday from the direction of the Zolotoye town on Pervomaysk. Kiev forces shelled the Sokolniki village 20 times from the SPG-9 tripod-mounted man-portable antitank gun.
Simultaneously, the village was shelled from 82mm caliber mortars, AGS automatic grenade launcher and a large-caliber machine gun.
Four residential buildings were destroyed in the Yasinovatsky region of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of the overnight shellings carried out by the Ukrainian troops, local authorities told the Donetsk news agency.
The intense shelling was reported in the villages of Veseloye and Spartak, located to the north of the capital, near the embattled Donetsk airport and Krasny Partisan, to the north of Yasinovataya, the representatives of local administrations said.
