MADRID, June 20. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with the chief executives of the leading global news agencies in St. Peterburg that he considers rapprochement between Cuba and the United States as a positive step, the Spanish news agency EFE reported.

Asked about Latin America, Putin said it is a priority for Russia. The Russian leader expressed support to the diplomatic thaw between Havana and Washington, the agency said.
