GENEVA, June 19. /TASS/. Despite talk of the "European choice," the Ukrainian authorities are actually "glorifying Nazi henchmen and establishing the dictatorship based on force rather than law," leader of the Ukrainian Communist Party Pyotr Simonenko told UN representatives during in working meetings in the UN Human Rights Bodies in Geneva.

"Today it’s very important to present to the world community unbiased information" on developments in Ukraine, he told TASS. "Our conversations were frank and honest, they relied on concrete facts and events," Pyotr Simonenko said.

""The entire law enforcement system in Ukraine is privatized and distributed between the oligarchs," he said. "The judicial branch of power that should be independent and free is under constant pressure. Minister of Justice Pavel Petrenko has repeatedly stated threatening judges that he will be sure to use sanctions against them, if they don’t obey his orders related to a particular criminal case." "A McCarthyism-like campaign has been unleashed against the Ukrainian Communist Party, a political case against communists has been framed up, they are trying to ban the Communist Party."

"In today’s Ukraine, we are faced with the fact that the official authorities who are talking about the European choice are in actual fact glorifying the Nazi henchmen and establishing the dictatorship based on force rather than law," Simonenko said.
