ST. PETERSBURG, June 19. /TASS/. Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said on Friday that the European Union’s Eastern Partnership Programme is a gross mistake that has caused problems in Ukraine.

"This mistake has caused the consequences we currently observe in Ukraine," Shuvalov said at a meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club that is held within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
