MOSCOW, June 19. /TASS/. Moscow insists on a speedy investigation by the Ukrainian authorites into the attacks on the Russian consulates-general in Kharkiv and Lviv, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.

"We expect that the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies for their part will take all necessary steps to identify and punish those responsible for the attacks on Russia’s consulate-general in Kharkiv on June 11, 2015, and illegal actions of extremists with regard to Russia’s consulate-general in Lviv on June 12, 2015," the ministry said.

"We voice regret over the acts of hooliganism with regard to Ukraine’s consulate-general in Rostov-on-Don overnight on June 13, 2015," the Russian Foreign Ministry said. "Russia’s law enforcement bodies are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident."

The Russian Foreign Ministry recalled that "so far there was no information on the results of the investigation into the attack on the Russian Embassy in Kiev a year ago - on June 14, 2014." "At that time, the Ukrainian law enforcement bodies were informed in advance about the planned provocations. However, the leadership of Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry and the Interior Ministry only watched aloof the vandals’ outrage," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"We insist on a speedy completion of the investigation by the Ukrainian authorities into these provocations that occurred on Russia Day and the punishment of guilty persons," the ministry added.
