Ukrainian military shelled village in Lugansk republic with mortars

Earlier, reports were coming that the Ukrainian troops had shelled the LPR residential localities three times, in particular the villages of Sokolniki, Zheltoye and Krasny Liman

MOSCOW, June 18. /TASS/. The village of Sokolniki in the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic’s (LPR) Slavyanoserbsk district was shelled with mortars and small arms by Ukrainian military on Wednesday night, a spokesman for the LPR People’s Militia said.

"Ukraine’s Armed Forces have opened fire from the village of Kryakovka using mortars and small arms on the positions of People’s Militia and civilians’ homes," the local news agency, LuganskInformCentre, quoted him as saying.

Earlier, reports were coming that the Ukrainian troops had shelled the LPR residential localities three times, in particular the villages of Sokolniki, Zheltoye and Krasny Liman.
