MOSCOW, June 17. /TASS/. The organizations of volunteers of Cyprus have sent relief supplies to the population of Donbas. The humanitarian aid has been delivered to Donbas by the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations, its press service told TASS. Clothes, food, hygienic stuff with an overall weight of 12 tons were delivered, it said.
The humanitarian cargo was shipped from Cyprus to Novorossiysk sea port in Russia, from where it was brought to Donetsk by trucks of the Russian ministry for emergencies. It was a second batch of relief supplies from Cyprus delivered to Donbas this year, after the first humanitarian five-ton cargo of clothes, footwear, and medications was brought to Donetsk and Luhansk in March.
