LUGANSK, June 12. /TASS/. Reporters of an official news agency of the self-proclaimed People’s Republic of Lugansk (LPR) came under shelling from Ukrainian military near the village of Stanitsa Luganskaya, 20km northeast of the city of Lugansk, at around 20.00 Moscow Time (17.00 GMT) on Friday, the LuganskInformCentre said in a report attaching photos and a video footage that showed the moment of the blast.

A reporter and cameraman were shooting a report about militiamen’s service at a checkpoint nearby the village.

"At around 20.00, while we were interviewing servicemen of the 1st battalion of LPR People’s Militia’s territorial defence, we were unexpectedly shelled by Kiev military from the side of Stanitsa Luganskaya," the reporter said at the scene.

"Suddenly, a powerful blast roared at a distance of 15-20 metres. A soldier actually grabbed us and pushed into the trench. Maybe, he even saved us," the reporters said adding "We were extremely lucky that the shell exploded between two concrete blocks preventing us from shrapnel wounds."
