MOSCOW, June 11. /TASS/. Intelligence of the militias of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) has spotted more than 40 pieces of heavy military equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces near the separation line, DPR Defense Ministry spokesman Eduard Basurin told reporters on Thursday.

"As many as 13 Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) have been spotted in the Katerinovka and Dzerzhinsk settlements, and movement of eight pieces of the BM-21 Grad MLRS has been recorded from Krasnoarmeisk to Avdeyevka," he was quoted by the Donetsk news agency as saying.

Also, according to Basurin, howitzer artillery gun positions have been spotted at the Skotovataya station and the "arrival of self-propelled artillery systems - up to 20 pieces" has been recorded at the Karlovka settlement.

According to the Complex of Measures to implement the Minsk Agreements, which was signed by members of the Contact Group on the Ukrainian crisis resolution on February 12, weapons with calibre of 100 mm and more should be pulled back by the sides at a distance of 50 km, MLRS - 70 km, the Uragan and Smerch MLRS and Tochka tactical missile systems - at a distance of 140 km. The parties must withdraw their weapons at equal distances: Kiev - from the current line of contact, and the DPR and LPR republics - from the line fixed by the Minsk memorandum of September 19. DPR completed the withdrawal of weapons by March 1.
