RIGA, June 3 /TASS/. The Latvian parliament made its fifth, this time successful, attempt to elect the country’s new president on Wednesday. Fifty-five deputies out of 100 voted for electing Defense Minister Raimonds Vejonis as Latvia’s new president by secret ballot.
