Russian agriculture watchdog starts inspections of livestock enterprises in Lithuania

MOSCOW, May 25. /TASS/. The Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance inspectors started inspecting the livestock enterprises in Lithuania, the Service said Friday.

"From May 25 to May 29 the Service’s specialists will participate in the inspection of Lithuanian livestock enterprises for compliance with veterinary and sanitary standards and requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union and Russia, carried out by the Belarusian Veterinary Service," the Service said.

During the inspection the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance is expected to visit 2 Lithuanian livestock enterprises.
