MOSCOW, May 22. /TASS/. A development strategy of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) will be presented in Ufa at the organisation’s summit due in early July, head of the National Committee for BRICS Studies Vyacheslav Nikonov said on Friday.
"Last night, we finished the work on the strategy, about which we agreed at the BRICS summit in Fortaleza," he said. "We shall present the final variant to the BRICS leaders at the summit in Ufa."
"BRICS has a chance to become a new model of global relations, which are above the dividing "east-west" or "north-south" lines, as the members respect national specifics, do not interfere with each other’s home affairs, and want to leave peacefully."
BRICS’ VI summit was in Fortaleza in July, 2014, and next summit is due in Russia’s Ufa on July 8-9, 2015.
