SEOUL, May 19. /TASS/. NATO countries, with direct support from US, have spun the flywheel of civil war in Ukraine, Russian State Duma Speaker Sergey Naryshkin said on Tuesday.
Many lessons of the past have been learned poorly or simply forgotten, Naryshkin told the roundtable on historical and cultural aspects of Russian-Korean relations which is taking place in Seoul.
"Tragic events in Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, Syria prove this… Destruction and death returned to Europe again, when NATO countries with direct support from US, playing along with outright Nazis in Kiev, in fact spun the flywheel of civil war in Ukraine," Naryshkin said.
