ANTALYA, May 14. /TASS/. NATO is keeping channels for political contacts with Russia open but practical cooperation remains suspended, the alliance's secretary general, Jens Stoltenberg, said on Thursday.
"What NATO decided last spring was to suspend all practical cooperation with Russia," Stoltenberg told a news conference after a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Antalya, Turkey.
"We also then decided to keep channels for political contact open," he said. "Our position remains unchanghed - practical cooperation with Russia is suspended."
