Russian Emergencies Ministry’s convoy delivers humanitarian aid to Donbas

Trucks delivered to Luhansk and Donetsk food, including canned fish and milk, flour, rice and grain, as well as necessities, building materials, educational literature

MOSCOW, May 14. /TASS/. Russian Emergencies Ministry’s convoy has delivered humanitarian aid to Luhansk and Donetsk, the ministry’s National center for crisis management told TASS on Thursday.

"Trucks delivered to Luhansk and Donetsk food, including canned fish and milk, flour, rice and grain, as well as necessities, building materials, educational literature for Donbas schoolchildren and students," the center said.

More than 1,100 tons of humanitarian aid was delivered to Donbas today. The trucks are being unloaded at storehouses in Donetsk and Luhansk.

This is the 26th Russian Emergencies Ministry’s humanitarian convoy to Donbass. Since August 2014, around 33,000 tons of aid was delivered to Donbas.
