MOSCOW, May 13. /TASS/. Two school buildings and a kindergarten have been damaged during an artillery attack on the settlement of Gorlovka in Donbas last night, the Donetsk news service said on Wednesday. A bomb shell has also destroyed the roof of a multi-storied apartment building, it said.

Eduard Basurin - a representative of the defence department of the self-proclaimed Donetsk Republic, said that "the Ukrainian servicemen have been intentionally shelling residential areas. On Monday two artillery shells fell onto the territory of a kindergarten. The Ukrainian authorities have been demonstrating in all possible ways their reluctance to abide by the peace plan," Basurin said.

The artillery shells were fired from tank guns, 152-millimeter howitzers and mortar launchers with a caliber of 120 millimeters. The artillery attack launched at around 10.00 pm Tuesday continued until Wednesday morning.
