MOSCOW, May 13. /TASS/. A plane of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) is leaving for the city of Rostov-on-Don to airlift a group of sick children from Donbass to Moscow. A child, who is barely one year old, is the youngest in the group, the EMERCOM press service told TASS.
"The children, who suffer from different health problems, need professional, high-tech medical assistance which is not available at Donbas medical establishments. The EMERCOM plane is leaving for Rostov-on-Don quite soon," the press service said.
The EMERCOM plane is provided with modern medical equipment, including special modules which enable to control patients’ condition and give them the necessary medical assistance during transportation. The children will be accompanied by their parents, experts of the Disaster Medicine Center and psychologists of the EMERCOM Center for Psychological assistance.
