KIEV, May 12. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has dismissed Ukrainian Ambassador to Belarus Mikhail Ezhel, the presidential press service said on Tuesday.
The reasons for the dismissal have not been disclosed.
Ezhel was appointed Ambassador on April 3, 2013. He served as Ukraine’s Defence Minister between March 11, 2010, and February 8, 2012. In August 2014, the Prosecutor-General’s Office of Ukraine opened more than 50 criminal cases against Mikhail Ezhel on suspicion of ruining the logistics support of the Ukrainian army.
