BRUSSELS, May 5. /TASS/. Moscow will maintain relations with London irrespective of the results of the proposed referendum on Britain’s membership in the European Union, Russia’s Ambassador to the EU Vladimir Chizhov told a news conference on Tuesday.
"Russia will maintain relations with Britain regardless of the results of the referendum on the UK’s membership in the European Union," he said. "The referendum is Britain’s internal affair, and Russia doesn’t interfere in it." "I doubt that Britain’s exit from the EU will make the union stronger," the diplomat added.
