Next humanitarian convoy to Donbas "under special control" — Russian Emergencies Ministry

"We are planning to dispatch another humanitarian convoy on May 14," Vladimir Puchkov said

MOSCOW, May 5. /TASS/. Russian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov has ordered to bring the preparation of the next humanitarian aid convoy to the Donbas region under special control. The convoy is due to be dispatched on May 14, he said during a conference call on Tuesday.

"We are planning to dispatch another humanitarian convoy on May 14. Its preparation must be brought under special control. Organize the preparation of all necessary cargos, food and medications, everything that is necessary for stable work of social infrastructure," he said.

Puchkov also noted that the previous humanitarian aid convoy had delivered gifts for World War II veterans. "We delivered a humanitarian aid cargo, including gifts for the veterans. I’ll ask to double-check again and, together with social activists, organize the targeted delivery of the gifts to war veterans and workers of the home front who reside in the People’s Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk," he said.
