GENEVA, May 4. /TASS/. Russia will participate in the Syria consultations in Geneva on May 14, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office and other international organisations in the Swiss capital Alexei Borodavkin told TASS on Monday.
"We have picked up May 14 for consultations on Syria," Borodavkin said.
In the upcoming four to six weeks Staffan de Mistura, UN and Arab League Envoy to Syria, is due to hold separate meetings with representatives of Syria’s government and opposition along with main regional and international actors, including Syria’s neighbouring countries and five permanent members of the UN Security Council - Russia, the United States, Great Britain, France and China.
Borodavkin is to represent Russia at the consultations.
