Light aircraft crashes in east China, killing two people

BEIJING, May 3. /TASS/. A light aircraft has crashed near Huaibei City in east China’s Anhiu Province, Xinhua news agency reported on Sunday.

Two people died in the air crash, including a US national who served as a pilot. Local authorities said the aircraft crashed several minutes after taking off from one of local airports.

A passenger onboard the aircraft was China’s national, the police said. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is underway.
