MOSCOW, May 2. /TASS/. Ukraine's servicemen have opened fire on the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic 30 times over the past 24 hours, the DPR’s defence ministry said on Saturday.

"A total of 30 ceasefire violations have been registered, including three artillery shellings, 11 mortar shellings and the launch of an anti-tank guided missile," a ministry representative said.

Kiev forces opened fire with the use of tanks, infantry combat vehicles, armored vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms, he said. There is no information about the casualties, he added.

The shellings were registered in the settlements of Yasinovataya, Shirokino, Gorlovka, Spartak, Zhabichevo, Sakhanka and also the embattled Donetsk airport, the Volvo-Centre and Oktyabrskaya coal mine in Donetsk.

Under the terms of the peace deal agreed by the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France in the Belarusian capital Minsk in February, the ceasefire regime came into effect at midnight on February 15.
