PRAGUE, April 23. /TASS/. Czech President Milos Zeman said in an interview with the Czech radio on Thursday he believes that Russia will become a member of the European Union in the future.
"In the long-term prospect, Russia will become a member of the EU," Zeman stressed. "If you don’t like it, you can consider that the EU will accede to Russia," he said.
The Czech leader called for restoring the trade and economic partner relations between the Czech Republic and Russia as soon as possible.
"I do not want any gifts. I seek only normal economic conditions, including the investments and exchange of goods," he said.
