Ukrainian lawmakers introduce a bill on nationalizing Russia’s assets

A law "On nationalizing the Assets of Russia and its Residents" is initiated by the Radical Party faction members

KIEV, April 22. /TASS /. The Ukrainian parliament proposes to nationalize the assets of Russia and its residents. Verkhovna Rada deputies have put on the agenda on Wednesday a law "On nationalizing the Assets of Russia and its Residents" initiated by the Radical Party faction members. A total of 228 lawmakers voted for the decision, with 226 votes required for passing the bill, which has been handed over to the relevant committees.

Earlier on Wednesday, the lawmakers have fallen four votes short to put the bill on the agenda. After that, an unscheduled break was announced, during which a meeting of the heads of the coalition factions was held.
