MOSCOW, April 18. /TASS/. Ukrainian military intensified shelling the city of Donetsk with heavy weapons on Saturday evening, the Defence Ministry of self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) said.

"Heavy weapons are pounding the city," the ministry’s spokesman told the Donetsk news agency adding the DPR armed forces did not return fire.

No casualties have been reported yet.
