MOSCOW, April 15. /TASS/. Greece is exerting every effort for the sake of lifting sanctions against Russia, Greek Defense Minister Panos Kammenos said on Wednesday at a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.
"Despite being a little country, we are exerting every effort with a view to lifting these restrictions," Kammenos said.
Kammenos is in Moscow on a two-day visit following an invitation from his Russian counterpart Shoigu. Kammenos is also scheduled to speak at the 4th Conference on International Security to be held in the Russian capital on Thursday and Friday (April 16 and 17). The topic of this year’s conference is the challenges and prospects of global security.
