Canada announces sending 200 military instructors to Ukraine

According to the Canadian PM's press service, the country's military instructors will be deployed in Ukraine until March 2017 to help it in its efforts to maintain sovereignty, security and stability

OTTAWA, April 14. /TASS/. The government of Canada will send some 200 Armed Forces personnel to Ukraine to deliver military training programs, the Canadian prime minister's press service said on Tuesday.

Canadian military instructors will be deployed in Ukraine until March 2017 "to help the country in its efforts to maintain sovereignty, security and stability," the press service said.

"Their activities will include explosive ordnance disposal and improvised explosive device disposal training, military police training, medical training, flight safety training, and logistics system modernization training," the press service added.

The training will undergo in western Ukraine.
