NATO’s attempts to interfere in Ukraine conflict exacerbate situation — CSTO

Any attempts to organize training of armed forces’ battalions or national guard, supply lethal or non-lethal weapons only facilitate the continuation of conflict

MOSCOW, April 13. /TASS/. NATO’s attempts to interfere into Ukrainian conflict only exacerbate the situation and encourage "the party of war" in Kiev, the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha said on Monday.

"Let them [Ukrainian authorities] sort out all issues with DPR and LPR [self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics] through direct dialogue by peaceful means. Any attempts to interfere - organize training of armed forces’ battalions or national guard, supply lethal or non-lethal weapons - only facilitate the continuation of conflict, encourage ‘the party of war’ in Ukraine," Bordyuzha told TASS.

NATO member-countries try to destabilize the situation in CSTO member-countries, Bordyuzha said. "However, any deliberate attempts to change the situation will be prevented," he noted.
