SINGAPORE, April 13 /TASS/. Interpol opened a Singapore international center to fight cybercrime n Monday, Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Teo Chee Hean said. The center will employ about 110 officers from more than 50 countries. It will be of great help to the Lyon-based headquarters of the international criminal police organization.
Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev does not rule out that Russian experts are going to work for the Interpol office in Singapore.
"The Interpol leadership wants to see our experts on fighting cybercrime in the center’s ranks. We have given our preliminary consent but we are going to study all the details," Kolokoltsev said.
