MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. Donetsk City Clinical Hospital No. 21 works in the normal regime after it was shelled by the Ukrainian army, Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Health Minister Viktor Kuchkovoi said on Sunday.
"The mines flew into the building where there were no patients. As a result of the explosion, only the building’s roof was damaged. The hospital is working in the normal regime. All patients are receiving comprehensive and necessary medical assistance. There were no casualties among the medical personnel or patients as a result of the morning shelling," the DPR health minister said.
Head of administration of the Kievsky and Kuibyshevsky districts in Donetsk Ivan Prikhodko said earlier on Sunday that four mines had landed on the hospital’s territory as a result of the hospital’s shelling. Three of them exploded near the hospital and one hit the building’s roof but did not explode.
