MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. The authorities of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) plan to reconstruct 14 coal mines throughout the current year, Yevgeny Lavrenov, the head of the DPR strategic industrial development department, said on Friday.
"We have elaborated a programme of restoring coal mines. Fourteen mines will be reconstructed and modernized this year," the Donetsk News Agency quoted him as saying.
He also noted that the DPR authorities had managed to reconstruct and launch dozens of enterprises destroyed by the Ukrainian army. Efforts were now taken to build a cheese dairy factory and a canning plant, he added.
