British Airways A-321 makes emergency landing in Baku over engine fire

No one was hurt

BAKU, April 10. /TASS/. A British Airways A-321 plane made an emergency landing at the Baku airport shortly after the takeoff due to engine fire, the press service of Azerbaijan Airlines said on Friday.

According to the press service, the Airbus with 92 passengers and crew members took off from the Geidar Aliyev airport in Baku at 21:19 local time (19:19 Moscow time) and was bound for London. Eleven minutes after the takeoff, the pilot reported an engine fire and the plane returned to the Baku airport.

No one was hurt.
