MOSCOW, April 10. /TASS/. Almost 30 Russian defense organizations will take part in an international defense and security exhibition "LAAD-2015" which is opening in Rio de Janeiro on April 14, the Russian Federal Service for military and technical cooperation said on Friday. Head of the federal service Alexander Fomin will head the Russian delegation to the Rio de Janeiro exhibition.

Seventeen out of 29 Russian participants, including Rosoboronexport, Helicopters of Russia, Instrument Design Bureau (KPB) and other companies, will present models and makeshift copies of almost 670 kinds of military hardware and aircraft, including training plane Yak-130, Su-35 jet, military and transport plane Il-76MD-90, helicopters of different modifications, coastal guard ships, including Frigate Gepard-3.9" and a test model for Pantsir-1 surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery complex.

LAAD exhibitions have been held since 1992 under the patronage of the defense and foreign ministries of Brazil. A total of 595 companies from 45 world countries have applied to take part in the exhibition which will be held on the premises with an overall territory of more than 67, 000 square meters and will be attended by 128 official delegations from 61 world countries.
