MOSCOW, April 8. /TASS/. It is impossible to imagine the world’s new security architecture without Russia, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Wednesday after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Returning to the dialogue on new security architecture is a direct necessity. And nobody could imagine it without Russia’s participation. Greece, based on its possibilities and taking into account its equal presence in European multinational structures, will try to assist the efforts to build bridges of cooperation and dialogue between the EU and Russia," said the Greek prime minister.
"Having a positive agenda on countering common challenges, such as the jidadist movement and problems in the Middle East and North Africa, I expressed satisfaction with and welcomed Russia’s consistent position as a permanent member of the UN Security Council," Tsipras said.
