Kiev is gradually returning to military actions — Russian lawmaker

MOSCOW, April 8. /TASS/. Ukrainian authorities are returning to the course of military actions, though on a smaller scale, State Duma’s Committee on International Affairs chairman Alexey Pushkov said on Wednesday.

"In my opinion, Kiev is gradually returning to military actions, though not on the same scale as before, of course," Pushkov told a press conference.

"It is not happening everywhere, not made demonstratively, but certain efforts are made that could lead to thinking that Kiev is preparing for a new military operation," he noted.

"It is accompanied by diplomatic maneuvers of [Ukrainian President] Petro Poroshenko who counts on a peacekeeping operation in the east of Ukraine," the lawmaker added.
