LUHANSK, April 6. /TASS/. Kiev troops yesterday launched an artillery attack on the positions of the people’s militias of the self-proclaimed Luhansk people’s republic, the head of LPR’s people’s militias headquarters, Sergey Kozlov said on Monday.

"At around 19:00 yesterday, the units of people’s militia to the north-east of Zolotoye [village] came under mortar fire. A total of five shells with a 120 mm caliber were fired. The enemy also carried out an attack on the village of Golubovka," he said, adding that Kiev forces had fired a total of 20 shells on the militias positions.

No casualties were reported following the attack.

The defense ministry of the Donetsk people’s republic said the Ukrainian troops have breached the ceasefire regime more than 20 times in the past 24 hours in the DPR’s villages.

The DPR stressed that the militias did not open return fire on the positions of Ukraine’s army. There is yet no information about the possible casualties among the civilians and militias.

The ceasefire regime in Donbas entered into force at 01:00 Donetsk time on February 15. The demand for the ceasefire was part of the set of measures on the implementation of the Minsk agreements, which was signed by the Contact Group on the Ukrainian conflict on February 12.
