MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. A third of agricultural land in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) is infested with mines, the DPR leader, Alexander Zakharchenko, said on Thursday.
"A third of the republic’s cropland has been rigged with explosives," the Donetsk news agency quoted Zakharchenko as saying. "About 70 agricultural companies have filed requests to defuse the fields."
At the same time, the DPR leader said that in spite of the fact, the spring sowing works in the republic were going ahead with success.
