Four Russians detained in Turkey while trying to cross border into Syria

A statement on the incident has been published on the website of the Gaziantep governor’s office

ANKARA, April 2. /TASS/. Four Russian nationals were detained in the Turkish province of Gaziantep while trying to cross the border into Syria, the press service of the Gaziantep governor’s office told TASS on Thursday.

"According to our information, four Russian citizens were detained at the border on March 31. Their names are not made public. These persons were referred to the foreigners’ department of the Gaziantep security department to settle necessary formalities. After that, they will be expelled from the country," the press service said.
