UNITED NATIONS, March 31 /TASS/. The United Nations Secretariat will warmly greet a speech which Russian President Vladimir Putin is going to deliver at the 70th jubilee session of the United Nations General Assembly in September, Farhan Haq, the deputy of the official representative of the UN Secretary General, told journalists on Tuesday.
Of course, we are going to give a warm welcome to his visit as well as to the arrival of other heads of state and government. We expect the level of participation to be as high as possible. We also hope that a huge number of world leaders are going to come here, Farhan Haq said.
Earlier on Tuesday, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said it was highly probable that President Putin would deliver a speech at the jubilee session of the UN General Assembly.
