LAUSANNE, March 28. /TASS/. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi plans to have a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Sunday within the framework of the talks on Iran’s nuclear programme in Lausanne, the head of China’s delegation at the talks told reporters on Saturday.
"The minister’s schedule for tomorrow is very busy. A meeting with Lavrov is in it," said Wang Qun, who is the director general of the Chinese foreign ministry’s department of arms control.
Earlier, Wang Qun confirmed that China’s foreign minister had flown to Lausanne to take part in the talks on Iran’s nuclear issue.
On Sunday Wang Yi is to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov, head of the Russian delegation at the talks, said Lavrov may arrive in Lausanne.
