MOSCOW, March 24. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said on Tuesday he would represent Russia at talks on the Ukraine crisis with Ukrainian, German and French foreign ministry officials in Paris.
"It has been decided that I will attend the meeting. I will travel to Paris tomorrow," Karasin told TASS, adding that the meeting would take place around noon on Wednesday.
Earlier reports said Russia would be represented by the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry's second department for CIS countries, Viktor Sorokin.
An informed source told TASS on Tuesday participants in the meeting were expected to discuss implementation of peace agreements struck in Minsk, Belarus, last month, including Kiev’s commitments to withdraw heavy weapons from the front line and carry out political reforms in Ukraine's eastern regions.
