Ukrainian forces opened fire on Donetsk Republic 34 times over 24 hours — DPR

Anti-aircraft weapons, mortars and hand and automatic grenade launchers were used in the attacks

MOSCOW, March 16. /TASS/. Ukraine’s armed forces over the past 24 hours violated truce 34 times by opening fire on the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Donetsk News Agency has said.

"Over the past day there were 34 shellings, including 15 violations last night. The attacks were mounted on the villages of Spartak, Shirokino, Gorlovka, Peski and the Donetsk airport," the agency quotes a Defense Ministry spokesman as saying.

"Anti-aircraft weapons, mortars and hand and automatic grenade launchers were used in the attacks," he added.

The militias sustained no casualties over the past day. Nor is there any information about civilian casualties in the Donetsk Republic.
