Pushilin: secrecy around draft document on Donbass contradicts with parliamentary norms

The Donetsk Republic regrets nobody either in Donbass or in Ukraine have seen text of the draft document, envoy of DPR said

MOSCOW, March 15. /TASS/. Keeping secret context of the draft statement on a special status for certain districts in Donbass contradicts with parliamentary norms, envoy of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) to the Minsk talks Denis Pushilin said on Sunday.

"This secrecy is rather strange and it contradicts with not only the open spirit of the Minsk agreements, but also the parliamentary norms of the Ukrainian state," he said in an interview with the Donetsk news agency.

The Donetsk Republic regrets nobody either in Donbass or in Ukraine have seen text of the draft document.

Ukraine’s President Pyotr Poroshenko early on Sunday presented to the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) a draft statement on special status for Donbass certain districts.
