Ukraine Defence Ministry: Donbass militia free 5 Ukrainian military

KIEV, March 7. /TASS/. People’s militias in Ukraine’s south-eastern Donbass region released on Sunday 5 soldiers of the Ukrainian army, Ukrainian deputy defence minister’s adviser Vasily Budik said.

"Five more soldiers of the Ukrainian armed forces have been released today," he wrote on his Facebook page.

According to Budik, the release was made through the Defence Ministry’s coordination department.

Budik did not specify, however, with whom and where the release negotiations were held.

Representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR) have not reported about the release yet.
