KIEV, March 3. /TASS/. A bill has been drafted in Ukraine to ban political parties and organization which openly support communist ideology, Ukraine’s Minister of Justice Pavel Petrenko told television Chanel 5 on Tuesday.
According to Petrenko, the bill says a political party that "openly supports communist fascist ideology, cannot be registered under our laws, and the registration of such organization having already been registered is to be revoked," he said.
In his words, the authors of the bill had taken into account relevant experience of East European states, the Baltic countries, Poland and the Czech Republic. The minister added that the bill would be submitted to the parliament (the Verkhovna Rada) one of these days.
