MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. The Ukrainian forces have violated the ceasefire regime in east Ukraine eight times last night, the self-proclaimed Donetsk republic (DPR) defense ministry said on Tuesday.
"Eight incidents of shelling were registered overnight. The outskirts of Donetsk and the Peski settlement were shelled from mortars," the Donetsk News Agency cited a DPR spokesman as saying.
There were no reports on casualties or destructions, according to the source.
In general, the night in Donetsk, as well as in Gorlovka and Makeevka, was calm, the city councils told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
"At 10am [local time], everything is calm in the city, there are no military actions, all systems are working in the routine mode," Donetsk mayor’s office said.
