MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. The threat of Ukraine’s disintegration remains if Kiev refuses to hold talks with the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republic (DPR and LPR), Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko said on Saturday.
"If they [Ukrainian authorities] do not understand that they need to sit down at a negotiating table with the other party, DPR and LPR, and look for an appropriate solution, then this threat [of Ukraine’s disintegration] remains," Matviyenko said. "Everything is in the hands of the Kiev authorities," she added.
