P5+1 group political director begin meeting in Geneva on Iran’s nuclear dossier

The P5+1 political directors arrived at the European Union’s mission at Geneva-based international organizations

GENEVA, February 22. /TASS/. A coordination meeting of the P5+1 group of international mediators /the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Germany/ on the Iranian nuclear dossier began on Sunday in Geneva.

The P5+1 political directors arrived at the European Union’s mission at Geneva-based international organizations. The Russian delegation is led by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

The Iranian delegation is lead by Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi and Majid Takht-Rawanchi.

A source close to the talks said the meeting was likely to last till late.

Earlier, Geneva hosted a bilateral meeting between Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
